Transfer market: Chelsea tracking Arthur Avom

According to journalist Ekrem Konur, Chelsea are monitoring 21-year-old Cameroonian midfielder Arthur Avom of FC Lorient. Leeds, Sunderland, Everton, Bournemouth and Hull City are also reportedly interested, but no official offer has been reported. Avom joined Lorient in August 2023 and helped the club win the Ligue 2 title and return to the top flight. He is reportedly under contract until June 2027, and Lorient could consider a January departure for €10–12 million, though the club has yet to confirm those details.
