US-Iran Peace Deal: M-East stability crucial to global economy — Olawepo-Hashim

Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim, presidential candidate of the Accord Party and Co-Chairman of the Movement for Democratic Renewal, welcomed the agreement between the United States and Iran aimed at ending hostilities and restoring stability in the Middle East. He stated that stability in the region is crucial for the global economy, affecting security, energy markets, trade, and economic growth. He commended President Donald Trump, the governments of Iran, Qatar, and Pakistan for their diplomatic efforts. Olawepo-Hashim also emphasized that Nigeria and Africa have a stake in a peaceful international order.
