Troops rescue six kidnap victims in Plateau, search for missing driver

Troops of Operation Safe Haven (OPSH) rescued six travelers abducted by suspected kidnappers along the Hawan Kibo–Rafin Sanyin Road in Riyom Local Government Area of Plateau State. The driver of the vehicle remains missing and a search is ongoing. The incident occurred early Friday when kidnappers intercepted a vehicle carrying passengers from Lafia, Nasarawa State, to Jos, Plateau State. Captain Polycarp Oteh, Media Information Officer of OPSH, confirmed the rescue operation.
