Troost-Ekong joins African football greats for AFCON 2027 draw

Former Super Eagles captain William Troost-Ekong has been selected as a draw assistant for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualification draw. He will be joined by African legends Max-Alain Gradel, Essam El Hadary, and Trésor Mputu. The draw will take place at the headquarters of the Egyptian Football Association and will be broadcast live on CAF TV and social media. A total of 48 countries, including co-hosts Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda, will participate in the qualifiers.
