Mali: Senegalese drivers trapped, 11 trucks burned, the hell of the Dakar-Bamako route

Since May 1, the circulation of Senegalese trucks on the Dakar-Bamako route has nearly come to a halt due to the deteriorating security situation in Mali. Eleven trucks, including three tankers and three vehicles from Ivory Coast, have been burned by armed groups. Despite the establishment of military escorts to secure the convoys, new attacks continue to disrupt trade between Senegal and Mali.
