Algeria: Five goalkeepers in Hemdani’s extended squad, giving Luca Zidane hope

Brahim Hemdani has named five goalkeepers on Algeria’s extended list for the November camp: Luca Zidane, Melvin Mastil, Abdellatif Ramdane, Rayan Yesli and Rahal. Zidane’s inclusion gives him a chance to return to the Fennecs after serving his suspension, but does not guarantee a final call-up. The goalkeeping competition remains open as the Leganés keeper has conceded 14 goals in nine Spanish second-division matches and recently lost his starting place after four consecutive defeats.
