Euromed University of Fez Named Best University in Morocco

The Euromed University of Fez (UEMF) retained its position as the top university in Morocco in the 2026 edition of the Round University Ranking (RUR) for the second consecutive year. UEMF attributes this result to its academic model focused on research, innovation, and international cooperation, hosting students from 52 nationalities. Eight of its faculty members are listed in the Stanford-Elsevier ranking of the top 2% most-cited scientists worldwide. This distinction comes as the OECD highlighted persistent challenges in Morocco's university system, such as a mismatch between training and labor market needs.
