Rights community petitioned over alleged land grabbing by police in Akwa Ibom

A firm in Akwa Ibom State has petitioned the Human Rights Community over alleged land encroachment by the State Police Command. Nature Control Company Limited claims that the police have refused to vacate a 9.529-hectare land that legitimately belongs to them. Despite documentary evidence and attempts to engage with the police commissioner, the police continue to intimidate the firm's workers and obstruct the development of the property.
