Senator Marafa defects to NDC weeks after joining ADC

Former senator representing Zamfara Central, Kabiru Marafa, has defected from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) during a visit to NDC National Leader, Senator Seriake Dickson, in Abuja. Marafa, who plans to run for governor in Zamfara State, was reportedly denied the ticket in the ADC and has now been assured of the governorship ticket in the NDC. This move comes just weeks after he left the All Progressives Congress (APC) due to internal disagreements.
