Artemis astronauts begin fifth day on historic Moon mission

The four astronauts on NASA's Artemis 2 mission began their fifth day journeying to the Moon, approximately 215,000 miles from Earth and 65,000 miles from the Moon. Former astronaut Charlie Duke gave the wakeup call, while the crew shared an image of the Orientale basin, seen for the first time by human eyes. The next major milestone is entering the 'lunar sphere of influence,' where the Moon's gravity will dominate that of Earth.
