The Democratic Republic of Congo lost 2-1 to Chile in a closed-door friendly in Orléans, their final preparation for the 2026 World Cup. Dario Osorio scored in the 52nd minute, Matías Sepúlveda added a second in the 86th, and Joris Kayembe pulled one back in the 87th. The match, originally scheduled in Spain, was moved due to Ebola concerns in DR Congo. The Leopards will start their World Cup campaign against Portugal on June 17 in Houston.
