OGIRS moves against defaulters in car dealership sector

The Ogun State Internal Revenue Service (OGIRS) has begun enforcement against tax defaulters in the car dealership sector in the Abeokuta zone. Executive Chairman Olugbenga Olaleye, represented by Director of Other Taxes Oluyomi Dawodu, emphasized that revenue generation is crucial for funding government projects. Service Head of the Dealership Unit, Nicholas Abiola, expressed displeasure at dealers evading compliance and warned that the enforcement would expand to other parts of the state.
