Gombe fire service contains outbreak at state media corporation, N20m saved

The Federal Fire Service (FFS) Gombe State Command prevented property worth an estimated N20m from being destroyed in a fire at the staff quarters of the Gombe Media Corporation. The fire, suspected to be caused by an electrical fault, was brought under control by firefighters who received a distress call at 4:06 PM and arrived at the scene by 4:25 PM. No casualties were reported, and firefighters left the scene after confirming there was no further danger.
