Curfew imposed in three Taraba communities over communal unrest

The chairman of Sardauna Local Government Council, Mohammed J. Umar, has declared a 24-hour curfew in the communities of Mbamnga, Mbara, and Geroji following communal unrest. This measure, which takes immediate effect, aims to restore calm and prevent further escalation of violence. Umar assured that the situation was under control and that security operatives had been deployed to maintain order. Residents are advised to remain indoors and report any suspicious activities to the authorities.
