Morocco: “Who do you think you are? You come and keep your mouth shut”—Sofyan Amrabat blasted by Mustapha Hadji

Mustapha Hadji sharply criticized Ajax midfielder Sofyan Amrabat after he said he would no longer answer Morocco call-ups while Mohamed Ouahbi remained coach. In an interview with Kooora, the former international said no player is above the national team, its coach or the Moroccan flag, and that Amrabat should accept his role even if he plays only one minute. Amrabat made his decision in early September after losing his place at the 2026 World Cup to young Ayyoub Bouaddi. Hadji added that players represent their country and should not demand a coach’s departure.
