Patrice Talon bids farewell to the Beninese

A few days before the power transfer, Beninese President Patrice Talon posted a message on Facebook to bid farewell to the Beninese and wish success to his successor, Romuald Wadagni. Talon expressed pride in the reforms and challenges faced during his ten years in office, while also paying tribute to his wife, Claudine Gbénagnon Kpoviessi. Romuald Wadagni, former Minister of Economy, will be sworn in on May 24, 2026, for a seven-year term.
