Kebbi: Acting VC appointed for AFUSTA after Mungadi's sudden resignation

The Governing Council of the Abdullahi Fodio University of Science and Technology (AFUSTA) in Aliero, Kebbi State, has appointed Prof. Muhammad Gwani as Acting Vice-Chancellor. Gwani, who was the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academics), assumed office on August 31, 2026, following the voluntary resignation of the former Acting Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ismaila Arzika-Mungadi, on August 28, 2026. The appointment aims to ensure continuity in the university's administration.
