INEC recognises Baba-Ahmed as PRP national chairman after convention

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has updated its official portal to list Dr Hakeem Baba-Ahmed as the National Chairman of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) following the party's National Convention held in Abuja on March 28. This formal recognition by INEC comes amid deepening internal disagreements within the PRP, as a faction known as the PRP Vanguard has rejected the convention and accused the new leadership of deviating from the party's founding principles.
