N117.7m Fraud: Five convicted, jailed seven years in Lagos

Five individuals were convicted and sentenced to seven years in prison for their involvement in a N117.7 million fraud case involving Chi Limited. Justice K.A. Jose delivered the sentences on September 3, 2026, following their prosecution by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). The convicts were found guilty of conspiracy to obtain money by false pretence and forgery, having obtained N81,359,922 from Chi Limited under false pretenses in 2009.
