Lagos Seals More Than 45 Buildings in Eko and Ifako-Ijaiye

Lagos State Physical Planning Permit Authority (LASPPPA) sealed more than 45 buildings in the Eko and Ifako-Ijaiye districts over alleged planning violations. It closed 25 properties in Ifako-Ijaiye and more than 20 in Eko for issues including missing permits, excessive density, unauthorized remodelling and departures from approved plans. The agency said owners and developers had previously received contravention notices but failed to comply. LASPPPA urged them to visit a district office or its headquarters in Ikeja to regularise their properties.
