Visa Scam in Parcelles-Assainies: 'Nianthio' Arrested, Over 3 Million FCFA Embezzled

O. Mané, known as 'Nianthio', was arrested on September 9, 2026, for defrauding two victims out of a total of 3.24 million FCFA by promising them trips abroad. The complaints were filed by a gendarme and a coranic teacher, who paid 1,140,000 and 2,100,000 FCFA, respectively. The suspect admitted to the charges and mentioned collaborating with a Moroccan national named M. Azour. Several documents under different identities were found during the search.
