Tonkpi: Sons and Daughters of the Region Mobilize for a Solemn Tribute to Alassane Ouattara

On June 3, 2026, in Abidjan, an information meeting gathered executives, elected officials, traditional chiefs, women, and youth of the Tonkpi region, led by Albert Mabri Toikeusse and Vagondé Diomandé. The aim was to prepare a tribute day for President Alassane Ouattara scheduled for July 11, 2026, at the Léon Robert stadium in Man. Mabri Toikeusse highlighted developments in the region, including a top university, roads, schools, electricity, water, and a 95% enrollment rate.
