Communications Authority Targets ISPs With New Internet Installation Rules

The Communications Authority of Kenya has proposed new installation standards for Internet service providers (ISPs) to improve the safety and reliability of Internet infrastructure. These guidelines aim to address poor installations that lead to slow speeds and frequent outages. Citizens are invited to submit their feedback by May 20, and the new rules include requirements for cable burial and protection of critical infrastructure.
