Epidemics: African Biologists Gather in Togo to Sound the Alarm

Medical biologists gathered in Lomé, Togo, for the first regional conference of the West African Federation of Medical Laboratory Sciences. They discussed lessons learned from the Ebola and Covid-19 epidemics, urging governments to strengthen diagnostic capabilities and invest more in health preparedness.
