On World Malaria Day, the Ivorian government reaffirmed its goal to eliminate malaria by 2030. Health Minister Pierre Dimba highlighted significant progress, including a reduction in malaria-related deaths from 1,534 in 2022 to 127 in 2025, attributed to increased use of insecticide-treated nets and other interventions.
