Koumassi Campement: NGO REMEDES provides support to the displaced

On June 17, 2026, the NGO REMEDES, led by its global president Marcel Kouamenan, visited the displaced people of Koumassi Campement gathered at the Bélier school. The organization distributed food and non-food items as well as an envelope of 500,000 CFA francs. Marcel Kouamenan stated that the NGO intervenes to support vulnerable populations. The donations included water, oil, salt, rice, canned goods, and baby diapers. The NGO plans further actions.

Required documents include a certificate of regular incorporation of the legal entity, an approval certificate from the ministry, a detailed list of participants (gender and age), signed parental authorizations, a criminal record or sworn statement for staff, a notarized commitment form, an educational project, and a receipt of payment of administrative fees. The final list of approved structures will be published on Monday, June 22, 2026.
