Jordan Ayew played his third World Cup, joining Asamoah Gyan, Sulley Muntari and André Ayew as Ghanaians with three World Cup appearances. At 34 years and 279 days, Jordan Ayew also became the oldest player to represent the Black Stars in the tournament.
