Kara bridge repairs, Otedola crash worsen Lagos-Ibadan gridlock

Motorists and commuters were stranded for several hours on Wednesday due to ongoing repairs on Kara Bridge and a truck accident in the Otedola area, worsening traffic on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. The gridlock extended over 20 kilometers, with some motorists spending up to six hours in traffic. The situation also triggered a shortage of commercial buses, with fare increases exceeding 200%.
