Nigerian Army’s X Account Restored, Updates Resume

The Nigerian Army announced on Sunday that its X account, previously inaccessible because of technical issues, had been restored and regular updates had resumed. Colonel Appolonia Anele, Acting Director of Army Public Relations, said the recovery followed efforts to address unauthorised access reported on 29 August 2026. The account is secured and administrative control has been reinstated, allowing updates on the Army’s activities and operations to resume. The Army thanked the public and media for their patience and encouraged them to follow its official account, @HQNigerianArmy.
