In the third quarter of 2026, Togo borrowed at a five-year average yield of 7.07%, almost matching Côte d’Ivoire’s 7.08%, according to UMOA-Titres. Togolese yields have declined since the start of the year, and five-year bonds accounted for nearly three-quarters of the funds raised during the period. Togo raised about 53 billion FCFA at that maturity, compared with 285 billion for Côte d’Ivoire. Its average borrowing term reached 4.62 years, the longest among the Union’s eight states in the third quarter.
