Ooni Hosts AIG Ewah and Rallies Traditional Rulers for Yorubaland Security

The Ooni of Ife, Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, pledged to mobilise traditional rulers to work with police on security and peaceful coexistence in Osun and Oyo States. He made the commitment on Thursday at his palace in Ile-Ife while receiving Bassey Samuel Ewah, the newly appointed assistant inspector-general of police in charge of Zone 11. Ewah sought the Ooni’s blessings and support, saying cooperation with traditional institutions could strengthen community engagement and the flow of security information.
