FARDC and MONUSCO Track CRP Militia in Djugu

The Congolese army (FARDC), supported by MONUSCO, launched operations on April 9 against the militia 'Convention for the Popular Revolution' (CRP) in the Lodha and Fataki areas, resulting in the death of one FARDC soldier, the capture of 15 militiamen, and the recovery of 22 weapons. The threats from the CRP have intensified in the surrounding localities, prompting the FARDC to take action. MONUSCO has also increased its patrols to secure displaced persons' sites threatened by this militia.
