C64 leaders meet in Rome on Monday and Tuesday to examine the situation in the DRC

Coalition Article 64 (C64) leaders Martin Fayulu, Delly Sesanga, Jean-Marc Kabund, Augustin Matata Ponyo and Moïse Katumbi will meet in Rome on October 26 and 27, 2026, for their first in-person gathering since the platform was launched in May. They plan to reaffirm their support for genuinely inclusive dialogue and their opposition to a military solution to the security crisis, positioning themselves as a third option between Kinshasa and the Front for the Refoundation of the Nation (FRN), led by Joseph Kabila. After discussing the country’s overall situation, the leaders plan to travel to Paris, Brussels, Luanda and the Republic of the Congo.
