Germany Funds EAC Ebola Response With Ksh150 M Boost for Labs and Training

The German Development Bank (KfW) has committed Ksh150 million (€1 million) to strengthen the East African Community's (EAC) Ebola response. Funds will support mobile laboratories, diagnostic supplies, and training. The DRC has 121 confirmed cases and 246 deaths, Uganda 11 cases with one death. Kenya has received a mobile lab and has 23 preparedness and isolation centers.
