Israel revokes Dutch diplomats’ status over sanctions on settlements

Israel has revoked the diplomatic status of Dutch diplomats at the Netherlands’ Representative Office in Ramallah, in response to the Dutch government’s ban on imports from Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank. Israeli Foreign Minister Gidoen Saar stated that diplomats must return their Israeli-issued diplomatic documentation within seven days. Israel also expelled the Dutch delegation from the International Support Center for Gaza in Kiryat Gat, as part of retaliatory measures against sanctions imposed by the UK, France, and Canada on illegal Israeli settlements. These actions are part of Israel's broader response to international sanctions.
