‘An act of resistance’: Raja Shehadeh’s Palestinian diaries find a new home

Raja Shehadeh's personal diaries will be officially transferred to the University of Edinburgh's Centre for Research Collections. Shehadeh began writing his diary at the age of 15 on May 11, 1967, while living in the Jordanian-controlled West Bank. His writings document a period of upheaval, particularly before the Six-Day War, and reflect his commitment to the Palestinian cause.
