Syria is choosing diplomacy with Israel, but can its approach last?

Since the fall of Bashar al-Assad's government, Syria has favored diplomatic engagement with Israel over military confrontation. The new Syrian government, led by Ahmed al-Sharaa, is working to rebuild the country after more than a decade of war and is avoiding conflicts with its neighbors. Despite Israeli provocations, analysts believe that Damascus sees the diplomatic path as its only viable option.
