Underreported killings, global silence worrisome — Gbenga Hashim

Gbenga Hashim, a former presidential candidate, raised concerns over a new wave of mass killings in Nigeria, warning that many incidents remain underreported. He reported that attacks in Shanga Local Government Area of Kebbi State left over 40 dead recently, with local sources suggesting the death toll could be higher. Hashim also noted that the situation is worsening in other states, with attacks resulting in between 130 and 300 deaths in the North Central region in a short period.
