As Tabaski 2026 approaches, 584,418 sheep have been registered in Senegal, showing an increase from 547,997 the previous year. Agriculture Minister Mabouba Diagne visited Médina Ndiathbé, the main entry point for livestock, and emphasized that market supply is satisfactory despite economic tensions. Over 249,000 sheep have already passed through this locality, which plays a key role in supplying urban markets.
