Canada: Ousmane Bah, a Quebec resident, arrested for threatening Mark Carney and Charles III – La Tribune

Ousmane Bah, a 45-year-old man living in Quebec, was arrested on September 24 for Facebook posts considered death threats by Canadian authorities. He faces charges of making threats to cause death or bodily harm and inciting hatred against an identifiable group. His posts included claims blaming Canada and Switzerland for the deaths of his family members, as well as threatening remarks towards Prime Minister Mark Carney, King Charles III, and Chief Justice Richard Wagner. He will face trial for these charges under Canadian criminal law.
