The Unité des Valeurs party calls for the repatriation of migrants to their countries of origin

The Unité des Valeurs political party urged the Congolese government to repatriate migrants rejected by the United States who are currently in the Democratic Republic of Congo. During a press conference, its president Michel Okongo Lomena stated that their presence contradicts Article 47 of the Rome Statute. He also denounced irregularities in the Washington Agreement, which would impose revisions to the Mining Code and the Constitution without involving the relevant ministries.
