Jigawa approves steering committee for Polling Units Development Fund

The Jigawa State Executive Council has approved the establishment of a steering committee to coordinate the implementation of the Polling Units Development Fund. Chaired by the Commissioner for Local Government, the committee will include members from key government institutions and will oversee development projects at the ward level. Additionally, extra funds were approved for diesel supply to water stations and to support 27,000 vulnerable women through the Jigawa Food Bank Initiative.
