US strikes destroy key bridges, maritime control tower in southern Iran

G7 Foreign Ministers issue their common stand on El-Obeid, Sudan

The G7 Foreign Ministers of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States, along with the High Representative of the European Union, urge the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and allied armed groups to immediately cease any action likely to lead to further atrocities or endanger civilians in El-Obeid, including drone strikes and impediments to humanitarian access. They remain gravely concerned about alleged severe violations of international humanitarian law and human rights law across Kordofan, Darfur, and Blue Nile regions. The Church of England has taken a long-overdue step on Palestine

The General Synod of the Church of England adopted a motion committing the Church to seriously engage with Palestinian Christian statements, including Kairos Palestine II, and to review its investments in light of the ICJ advisory opinion on occupied Palestinian territory. The motion, passed by an overwhelming majority of bishops, clergy, and laity, was criticized by pro-Israel groups such as the Board of Deputies of British Jews, who accused the Church of enabling anti-Semitism.
