2027: NDC joins opposition, backs push for stronger coalition

Ahead of the 2027 presidential and general elections, the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) allied with other opposition parties at a summit in Abuja. Led by NDC National Chairman Senator Moses Cleopas, the delegation discussed the need for greater collaboration among opposition parties to create a united political front. A major proposal was to develop a framework for selecting a common presidential candidate, to be finalized within four weeks.
