Tanzania and Ireland have launched the second phase of the Maziwa Faida Project, a five-year program (2027-2032) worth 3 million Euros (7 billion Tanzanian shillings). The project aims to modernize the dairy industry through cloud-connected technologies and modern farming practices. It is supported by Ireland's Agriculture and Food Development Authority (TEAGASC) and the Tanzania Livestock Research Institute (TALIRI). The initiative focuses on strengthening the entire dairy value chain, improving forage production, and enhancing the livelihoods of livestock keepers.
