Ndindi Nyoro Disputes Methu’s Ol Kalou Campaign Claim

Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro says the money he gave Nyandarua Senator John Methu was provided before the July 16 Ol Kalou by-election, not as a personal loan to buy a car. Nyoro says he gave half the funds to Methu for the campaign and sent the other half to Rigathi Gachagua through his assistant, accusing Methu of using campaign money to buy a vehicle. Methu says instead that the money was a personal loan to replace his car, which had been worn out during the campaign, and denies receiving campaign funds. The dispute comes amid opposition infighting, with DCP officials questioning Nyoro’s loyalty after he recently joined the PPK.
