PCN seals 505 illegal drug premises in Cross River

The Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN) sealed 505 illegal drug premises in Cross River State. During a four-day enforcement exercise across 10 local government areas, 291 illegal outlets were sealed, along with 54 pharmacies and 160 patent medicine stores found non-compliant. Only 42.5% of registered pharmacies met regulatory standards. The council also cited the eight-year prison sentence of Mrs. Ezea Asidora Kamchekwube for operating two unlicensed shops.
