Taraba APC at crossroads as 2027 governorship battle heats up

Tensions are mounting within the Taraba state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as efforts are being made to impose a consensus ahead of the 2027 governorship elections. Meanwhile, the chairman of the NDC in Kano, Husaini Isah Mai Riga, has called for stronger security measures following recent attacks. The APC has also clarified that members are not required to present proof of payment of membership dues to participate in the ongoing primaries.
