Israel army says killed commander of Iran's Quds Force special ops unit

The Israeli military announced it killed Asghar Bagheri, commander of the Quds Force's Special Operations Unit, in a strike on Tehran. Bagheri, who had held the position since 2019, had held several senior roles within the Quds Force and was involved in attacks targeting Israeli and American individuals worldwide. The operation took place a day before the military's announcement.
