Septuagenarian arrested for alleged rape of 10-year-old in Bauchi

A 70-year-old man has been arrested by the Bauchi State Police for allegedly raping a 10-year-old girl in Magama Gumau, Toro LGA. The victim's father reported that Hamza Yahaya lured his daughter to his hideout and had unlawful sexual intercourse with her. Although the suspect denied the recent allegation, he confessed to having sexually assaulted the victim on three previous occasions. The suspect has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for further investigation.
